This caterpillar, primarily found in the Amazon forests, has gained recent attention after a viral video showcased its astonishing mimicry.
In the shared video on Instagram, an individual demonstrates how the seemingly ordinary caterpillar, initially wrapped around a piece of wood, undergoes a rapid and convincing transformation into a snake-like form when it perceives danger. By stiffening its body and positioning its head in a biting stance, the caterpillar successfully resembles a snake, deterring potential predators.
