A girl in Punjab’s Bathinda was attacked by a pack of stray dogs, however, a lady in her colony came to her rescue. The incident was caught on CCTV and was from Bathinda’s National Colony, reported Zee News. The two girls in the video are seen playing around on the street when suddenly a bike entered the frame to which the street dogs reacted.

The girl noticed a dog behind her and ran away from him and later the animal also followed the girl. The reaction of the dog triggered other colony dogs who also followed the girl. Shocked by the incident, the friend of the little girl ran hurriedly towards a house.

Earlier, at least twenty people were injured after being attacked by a stray dog in Ghumarwin area, an official said. Municipal Council Ghumarwin President Rita Sehgal said the dog would suddenly pounce on the people passing by and bite them.

The incident occurred in night when a stray dog bit several people within the span of a few hours near Gandhi Chowk in the Ghumarwin market. The injured were sent for treatment at a local hospital and have been administered anti-rabies vaccines, Sehgal added. However, this is not an isolated incident.
