Leslie Greenhoff, a 69-year-old man, believes that he has the oldest cat in the world. According to him, Milly is 29 years old and born in 1995. The cat was owned by Paula Greenhoff, the late wife of Leslie Greenhoff. The cat was only three months old when it was adopted by Paula. Paula met Leslie through a dating website on October 10, 2012. He lost his wife due to COVID-19 in April 2020.

According to a report published in the Daily Star after the news went viral, People have asked the secret of the cat’s health. Leslie claimed that the cat had never seen the veterinarian. According to the owner, the cat eats a mixed diet of chicken and Purina cat food. Millie is not considered to be the world’s oldest cat. Officially, the world’s oldest cat is Flossie, 28 years old. As per Leslie, Millie is slower these days due to being 29 years old. The cat has gone a little deaf as well. Leslie expressed, “She can still jump up on the sides, but she’s a little slower these days. It’s just us two, and she isn’t bothered by any other cats, so I think it’s helped her live a long and peaceful life. She’s never gone to the vet since I’ve owned her or had any real health issues. She’s a little deaf now and loves to sleep on my bed.” Leslie also mentioned that the cat mostly enjoys lying on the couch and prefers lots of treats.

Leslie wishes to submit Millie to Guinness World Records. They are currently trying to contact their authorities. According to the records, the 29-year-old cat Flossie, born on December 29, 1995, remains the oldest cat in the world.
