This Beautiful Bird Can Stand Up To 4 Feet And Is More Aggressive Than A Tiger
To attract the females, the bird performs its unique dance, and at the same time becomes very aggressive for its territory.

Animals never cease to amaze us with their unique qualities and nature, and some can even be as or more dangerous than apex predators like tigers and lions. Did you know one of the most beautiful birds in the world is surprisingly more aggressive than tigers?

A male peacock is rightfully considered as a mind-blowingly beautiful animal, known for its greenish-blue feathers, which they use to attract females. But did you know these pretty birds are also very aggressive?

Dr Amitabh Agnihotri, a senior journalist and wildlife expert, has written numerous articles on the Terai forest. He provides more information on the behaviour of a peacock. According to him, the mating season of a peacock starts in March and lasts till September, and they only stay with their females until the season is over, before moving on to others. While to attract the females they perform their unique dance, at the same time they become very aggressive for their territories.

Dr Agnihotri stated that a male peacock does not let any other male enter its territory during that season. And its territory can even stretch up to acres sometimes. Interestingly, as the male peacock is trying to aggressively defend its territory, it is also making efforts to attract a female through its aggression. After successfully mating, the peacock leaves the female, and she then takes care of the eggs.

A peacock can prove to be a dangerous bird, as it can stand up to a height of 4 feet, giving them an advantage while attacking. While they do not have sharp teeth, they can peck and scratch their victims, along with jumping on them using their flight. According to reports, they are known to have attacked even humans in zoos.

What's your reaction?
