Coffee has been the most popular ingredient for some truly out-there culinary experiments featured in viral experiments. Well, it seems the coffee world isn’t done surprising us. A new coffee recipe is taking social media by storm, promising a unique and delicious flavour. Simply named “Whipped Honey Latte,” this video has clocked over 24 million views and more than 780,000 likes.
Recently, a video of a couple trying a whipped honey latte recipe has gone viral. In the reel shared on Instagram, the user shared that they were following vlogger Adrian Copas’s recipe for making this honey-coffee concoction.
The video opens to show the couple adding 1 cup of honey in a mixer and whipping it well. Then, they added 5 tablespoons of instant coffee powder and half a cup of hot water to the mixing bowl. After adding all the ingredients, they whipped it until a thick foam was formed. In the meantime, they added ice cubes and milk to a glass. Then, the couple topped the milk with a generous amount of the honey-coffee foam. Once done, they mixed and relished the latte. After taking a sip, they were all praising the drink.
Shared two days ago, the video quickly garnered the attention of viewers online, prompting a sea of reactions in the comments section. A majority of users expressed wanting to try this recipe, while those who have already tried it chimed in to share their thoughts. Some also shared substitutions for certain ingredients that they prefer. However, there were a few who were not convinced by the recipe.

“That boiling water is killing all those beautiful beneficial qualities of the raw honey. Instead, add the water to the “coffee” to dissolve and let it cool completely before adding it to the honey,” posted a user.
