Ameerpet has become a hub for private coaching centres. Social media users expressed surprise at this revelation while some shared their experiences and claimed that the place in Hyderabad had gained popularity even before Kota in Rajasthan, which is well-known for its coaching institutes for engineering and medical entrance examinations.
A user called it, “United States of Ameerpet.”

An individual appreciated the teaching style, describing it as direct, hands-on and efficient.

A user highlighted the significance of Ameerpet and shared its impact on various individuals who learned courses there around 20 years ago.
This place gave life to millions. Each and every one of my friends spent time here to learn courses 20 years back. Don’t know the present situation. @sriniksv— Dharma (@ride2temple) January 28, 2024
A person stated that the courses are like crash courses with information provided for self-practice.
They are there since last 25 yrs. Every one of them are crash courses and they just dump course info for you to practice alone at your place. Earlier, there were few institutions with seating capacities for 150 members per course. SAP/Oracle used to have packed classrooms 24/6— Divaker V Vittal ದಿವಾಕರ್ ವಿ ವಿಠ್ಠಲ್ (@divaker01) January 28, 2024
One more compared Ameerpet with Kota.

Although Ameerpet attracts a significant number of students, previous reports from The Times of India revealed concerning conditions of these centers. During a safety visit a few years ago, it was observed that many buildings lacked even the most basic fire safety equipment. Shockingly, some of the fire exits were found to be locked and inaccessible. The classrooms faced issues like inadequate ventilation, with sources mentioning that they frequently exceeded their intended capacity. For instance, classrooms designed for 20 students often accommodated 40 students during sessions, raising concerns about safety and overcrowding in these educational facilities.
