The video features a young female student from AIIMS performing a Bollywood song at the college’s Annual Day event. Her expressions, remarkable agility, grace and impressive moves have left many amazed and even confused. Some wondered if the girl was a professional dancer.

As the 24-second clip plays, the girl starts moving to the rhythmic beats and lyrics of the Tip Tip Barsa song, drawing loud claps and cheers.

Many took to the comments section and praised her excellent moves, while others criticised a would-be doctor for taking up dance. Anshika Singh Yadav, who shared the video on her X handle added, “Can’t a nurse or doctor dance? After seeing the comments on this post, I felt very bad seeing the mentality of the people. Not much, just clear the NEET exam and then judge them. Positive comments most welcome.”

Another user commented, “Why are you surprised? @aiims_newdelhi is India’s premier medical college also. So, medical students must be celebrating their Fest or Annual day. It’s good that she has cultivated a good hobby along with brilliant academics.”

The video has garnered over 1 million views on the microblogging platform. While this performance was witnessed during the college’s socialising event, another video went viral weeks ago where a group of doctors and staff members danced inside a health centre, leaving patients unattended. The incident took place in Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur at a Community Health Centre where a lot of them could be seen dancing to the beats of drums.

According to reports, the staff was celebrating the farewell of a fellow female employee. However, many patients complained about the loud noise and disturbance.
