In this clip, the daughter and son-in-law have come home after marriage. The family offered 379 different delicacies to greet them. All these dishes were prepared at home and served to the newlywed couple on a long table, which was decorated beautifully. This clip was shared by the son-in-law blogger Kusdhar on his official Instagram handle.
“We had a very great west Godavari vindu bojanam for our first Sankranthi! For lunch, we had 379 items in total, like 40 flavoured rice, 20 roti chutneys, 40 curries, 40 fries, 90-100 sweets, 70 hot items, juices, drinks, and many more!! According to the viral post, the couple tied the knot in September last year. The bride’s family welcomed the newlyweds to lunch to celebrate their first ‘Makar Sankranti’ and served 379 dishes, including desserts and the main course. The clip went viral in no time while viewers shared shocking reactions in the comment box.
Earlier a similar incident went viral when a family in Andhra Pradesh’s Anakapalli treated their son-in-law with 300 food items at a grand feast thrown on the occasion of Makar Sankranti.
The family arranged a variety of delicacies on the son-in-law’s first visit to their home following the marriage. Gunda Sai, a rice dealer, and his wife wanted to make the event unforgettable. Devendra, who married Rishita last month, expressed amazement at the spectacular welcome and plenty of delicacies. He said every dish tasted different.
The delicacies featured biryani, zeera rice, fried rice, tomato rice, pulihora, and a variety of desserts. The mother-in-law claimed she worked hard for three days to prepare the food. “We wanted to set an example by lavishly welcoming our son-in-law. “No one in Anakapalli has done this before,” she said.
