A lot of hype was built around the main event that would see Lyra Valkyria defend her NXT Women’s Championship for the first time on television as she faced Xia Li.

WWE NXT’s latest episode was brought to you live on November 21 from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. A lot of hype was built around the main event that would see Lyra Valkyria defend her NXT Women’s Championship for the first time on television. She was set to face Xia Li.

On the other side, Noam Darr had already retained the NXT Heritage Cup over Akira Tozawa last week. Now it was Chad Gable who decided to challenge Dar. This came to fruition as Dar agreed to face Gable with the cup on the line.

Later on the night, Edris Enofe and Malik Blade were set to compete in tag-team action while Eddy Thorpe also looked to pick up on a win in his match against Charlie Dempsey.

These are the results of all the fights on the latest episode of WWE NXT:

Noam Dar vs Chad Gable – NXT Heritage Cup

After some back-and-forth action in the fight, both Dar and Gable managed to score one fall each. With the match resulting in a draw, the referee prescribed that Dar retained the cup because usually, the holder retains the title in similar cases.

Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza vs. Edris Enofé and Malik Blade

Carrillo and Enofe start the action at the ring of the bell. Towards the end of the match, Enofe catches Carrillo with a dropkick before landing a powerbomb on him. He then tags Garza back in. Carrilllo then tosses Enofe towards Garza who kicks him mid-air for a pinfall victory.

Josh Briggs vs. Carmelo Hayes

The match begins with Hayes firing with some right hands but Briggs puts him down with a knee. After a commercial break, Briggs could be seen landing back elbow on Hayes in the ring’s corner. However, Hayes later connects with a codebreaker before climbing onto the top rope. He later takes a clothesline and a moonsault, losing to Briggs via pinfall.

Blair Davenport vs. Thea Hail

Just as the bell rings Daven Port catches Hail with a boot. Hail regains control soon, levelling her opponent with a tope suicida and a Fallaway Slam. She then gets her back in the ring and then delivers a senton before looking for another one off the ropes. However, Davenport gets her knees up and then rocks Hail with a knee to her face to take the victory.

Eddy Thorpe vs. Charlie Dempsey

The match starts with some successive submission holds from both Dempsey and Thorpe. Dempsey later locks in an Abdominal Stretch before conceding an enzuigiri and a boot to the face. Dempsey looks to regain control with the Abdominal Stretch once again but Thorpe manages to counter into a roll-up for the win.

Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Xia Li – NXT Women’s Championship

Valkyria and Li go back and forth with forearms before Li hits a jumping knee. Valkyria recovers and then lands an enzuigiri before following up with a spinning backheel kick. She then gets Li up on her shoulders, to hit a modified Michinoku Driver for the victory.
