The French car manufacturer Citrean is all set to expand its lineup, and soon to add another Automatic trim in the C3 Aircross series. Ahead of the official launch of the variant, which is scheduled for January 29, 2024, the SUV has been spied in a dealership in India, revealing overall design elements and some key features.
As per the leaked photos, the model carries the same style statement as the manual sibling, featuring a proper LED headlight setup, a massive bonnet with the company’s logo on it, stylish LED Day Running Light (DRLs), and a decent-sized air dam at the front. The photos also showcased round-shaped halogen fog lamps, which somehow enhanced its overall appearance and look.
Exterior Updates and Engine
Apart from this, the SUV gets blacked-out treatment on A and B-pillars, making it look sleek and bolder. The vehicle will run on 4-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels. Under the hood, the C3 Aircross will be powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, which will generate a max power of 108 bhp at 5,500 rpm and 190 Nm at 1,750 rpm. The unit now will be available in both a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
Interior
Inside the cabin, the SUV will get an improved touchscreen infotainment system, supported by all car connect technology including wireless Android, Auto, and Apple CarPlay. It will also have a digital instrument cluster and a multi-function 3-spoke steering wheel.
It has been reported that the vehicle will be launched in two trims Plus and Max, allowing the customers to have wider choice in the automatic segment. Once released, the variant will compete against Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, and Maruti Grand Vitara among others in the mid-size SUV segment.
