Mumbai metro services hit a snag on Tuesday as its operations between Dahisar and Kandivali West stations were disrupted. The reason behind the halt in services is yet to be ascertained, however, it has left stranded passengers upset.
With no prior information about the halt, passengers took to social media to post their complaints and experiences. Some passengers were even seen walking on the tracks after the train services were hit.
One of the users took to X and posted the video, saying “Probably the First incident where Mumbai Metro got stuck in between and commuter came out on the track near eksar road station. #mumbaimetro @MumbaiMetro01 please clarify whether Metro is working properly or not so we can plan our day accordingly.”

Another user said that he is stuck at Gundavli, saying that he had been sitting inside the stationery metro for more than 15 minutes.
Why is #MumbaiMetro not working ? Sitting in the metro for more than 15 mins and the metro is not moving. Also, the continuous unclear announcement serves no purpose, why ?? Stuck at #Gundavli @MumbaiMetro01 @Mumbaikhabar9It will be 30mins delay & why no service beyond Dahisar

Meanwhile, another user posted that the reason behind the disruption of services is said to be “Sankranti kite flying”.
Major issue on Line 2A #MumbaimetroIt is being said that it is due to Sankranti kite flying.
Trains running in Dahisar East to Gundavli section only. No trains on L2A.
Trains displaying “End of trip” on outside destination board.
