To spread roots in the Indian market and, widen up the whole portfolio, the French carmaker Citroen is gearing up to release another product named C3X crossover in the country.
Ahead of the official launch, a lot of details such as styling, some of the key features, and design have been leaked on the internet as the sedan was spotted during testing.
Upcoming Citroen C3X in India
It has been reported that the upcoming C3X will be positioned one step below the C5 Aircross, giving customers a few more options to choose from the lineup. However, the company has not confirmed any official details about the same as yet. Some reports suggested that it will drop some hints soon.
Design and Exterior
Going by the leaked images, the sedan, which was caught wearing heavy camouflage, flaunting its aggressive styling and decent size. After analyzing the photo closely, the car seems like will feature a proper LED headlight setup, and LED taillight with connecting LED DRLs. The vehicle also might come with a satisfactory amount of cladding on the sides, making it look more wild in the segment.
Despite being fully covered in camouflage, the alloy wheels made their presence felt. At the same time, the tire sizes remain a question mark.
Feautres
As per the details shared by Rushlane, the upcoming sedan will be built on a modular CMP platform. It is a similar platform, where Citroen’s C3 and C3 Aircross were made. To cut production and development costs, the company will borrow some of the trending features from existing cars.
Engine and Power
It is expected that the Citroen C3X sedan might be powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, turbo petrol engine, the same unit that was used in the C3 Aircross. It will generate a max power of 108 bhp and 190 Nm of peak Torque. It will be offered in both manual and automatic transmission. .
