Ayodhya Ram Mandir Inauguration: Anup Jalota Calls It 'Historic', Says 'Grateful To PM Modi'
Besides Anup Jalota, Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony will also be attended by several other celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan.

Ram Mandir’s inauguration in Ayodhya is all set to take place today i.e. on Monday, January 22. Hours ahead of the same, singer Anup Jalota spoke exclusively to CNN News18 and expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that today is a historic day and added that he feels privileged to get an invitation to attend the consecration ceremony.

“Today’s day is historic. I feel privileged to get invitation of pran prathishta,” Anup Jalota told us and then added, “Lord Ram has ensured dignity in our country. It is a very special day. We have waited for more than 500 years for this occasion.”

The Bhajan singer further talked about the way Ayodhya has been decorated for the special day and thanked PM Modi for it. “Nobody has thought that Ayodhya would get such a facelift. Many governments came and went but nobody did anything for Ayodhya. We are all grateful to PM Modi,” he said. Jalota then went on to say, “Modi Ji shaant nahi baithange, ab Mathura ki baari hai.”

Besides Anup Jalota, Ram Mandir’s inauguration ceremony will also be attended by several other celebrities. Earlier today, Amitabh Bachchan was snapped while leaving for the Ayodhya. He was also accompanied by his actor son, Abhishek Bachchan. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were also caught boarding a flight to Ayodhya. Vicky Kaushal was also joined by his actress wife Katrina Kaif. Ram Charan was also snapped as he arrived at the airport to leave for Ayodhya. Among others, Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rishab Shetty and Chiranjeevi are also likely to attend the ceremony.

Hema Malini will also present Ramayana-based dance drama on the Ram Temple consecration day. “I am coming to Ayodhya for the first time at the time of the ‘pran`pratishtha’ of Ram Temple for which people were waiting for years…On January 17, I’ll be presenting a dance drama based on Ramayana in Ayodhya Dham,” she revealed last week.
