The idol of Lord Ram Lalla will be installed at the grand Ayodhya temple after the consecration ceremony on January 22, 2024 and Ayushmann Khurrana has been invited to attend the ceremony, among many other Bollywood celebs. Many A-listers from different industries are also called to attend the consecration ceremony, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kangana Ranaut, Amitabh Bachchan, among others.

Ayushmann Khurrana has been invited for the same. CA Ajit Pendse, the Mumbai Mahanagar Sampark Pramukh of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), personally presented Ayushmann with the invitation to the grand consecration ceremony of ‘Ram Lalla.’ Although the actor didn’t post photos on his own social media, they have been going viral on the internet.

Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview with News18, the actor revealed how he remains unfazed by the constant pressure of proving himself and also revealed how he is happy when his contemporaries succeed, “I get inspired by my contemporaries. As long as the release dates of our films aren’t the same, there’s no competition (laughs). I consume their films as an audience member, who loves to get entertained and that’s about it. I’m happy for their success. I would pick up the phone with them if I liked their work. I loved Ranveer Singh’s performance in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. He was phenomenal. I complimented him and Karan (Johar, the director). I loved that film. I think it’s a beautiful film.”

The 38-year-old actor who has portrayed a variety of roles says that his choices of subjects may be unconventional but he also thinks about the commercial feasibility. “If you take a look at my filmography, you will see that there are progressive films but they still are made for a wider palate and audience. If I do a niche film, I’ll do an OTT film but my love for the big screen is phenomenal. So, I always aspire to do films that are commercial in a good way. In the case of Dream Girl 2, we went all out with our conviction. It’s too massy and it is doing great in two and three-tier cities. It’s not really for the intelligent audience.”
