New Delhi: Reacting to the Railway Budget presented by Railways Minister Dinesh Trivedi, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday said he is disappointed and alleged that the UPA-2 has deliberately kept quite on safety plan.
"Accidents are on the rise. What will be done on the future needs to be seen. The Government is talking in future tense," said Nitish Kumar.
Nitish Kumar also said that the Railway Minister has offered nothing in his 1 hour 50 minute speech.
"The way projects are getting delayed in Bihar it seems Bihar is being discriminated. It's a empty box, everything in annexure," said Kumar.
He was also wondered why the Railway Minister needs to be apologetic while increasing fares and said, "The Government should have the guts. For 1 hour 50 minutes everything was in future tense. I was expecting that something will be in present tense."
