We all know that organic foods are good for our health. Recently, a professor from the Tenkasi area, Tamil Nadu quit her job and started her own organic food products chain.
According to reports, she makes Aval micher, a health mix, black urad, and kali made from black Kowni rice. The main USP of her brand is healthy snacks which are made from traditional rice varieties and grains. She started her daily food products after she discovered that the food she was giving to her children during the COVID-19 period was lacking nutrients.
Daily Food Products is a business that she started not only because she wanted to provide healthy foods for her children but also to encourage friends and family around her to switch to natural foods. In a recent interview, she said, “People are a bit reluctant to switch to natural food during the busy season. But ready-to-cook foods are always in demand. So people often go after them, knowing that they don’t know how to give ready-to-mix healthy foods. Mixer, maida without using white sugar is listed as cookies made by the department.”
She further said that she has been running the organic food business for the past two years but she has not seen much profit from it. She also has a small shop in the Kadayam Road Pavoorchatram in Tirunelveli district. People in the Tenkasi area mostly buy organic snacks for children from the shop. However, the speciality of her shop is micher and cookies.
