India’s all-rounder, Axar Patel has gone up 12 positions to secure his career-best fifth spot in the ICC Men’s T20I Bowler’s Rankings after his performances against Afghanistan in the T20I series. Other Indian players like Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dube have also made significant jumps to improve their rankings.
Axar Patel has had a stellar T20I campaign, particularly with the ball where he managed to take 2/23 in the first game followed by an improvement where he took 2/17 in the next game to help India secure the series 2-0 against Afghanistan.

Opening batter, Yashasvi Jaiswal managed to put in another good performance where he managed to score 68 off 34 deliveries in the second T20I in Indore to bring him up to the sixth spot while Shivam Dube, following his consecutive fifties in the series scoring 60 and 63 helped him shoot up to the 58th spot in the T20I Batter’s Rankings as well.
The New Zealand batter, Finn Allen who has been in good touch with the bat scoring 34(15) and 74(41) to help get the win in the first two T20Is against Pakistan has now risen to 11 spots to be at the 16th position in the rankings. His team-mate, Tim Southee who managed to take six wickets in the first two games is now up to 18th in the bowler’s rankings.

India’s young star, Shubman Gill, has reached the 60th spot while Tilak Verma is sharing the 61st position. Arshdeep Singh has also managed to jump up four spots to secure the 21st ranking among bowlers.
Babar Azam has also jumped up to fourth in the rankings following his back-to-back half-centuries in the first two T20Is against the Kiwis. Haris Rauf is now at 14th in the rankings following his five wickets in the first two T20Is against New Zealand while Sri Lanka’s spin duo, Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana have gone up to share the third spot in the bowler’s list.
Pakistan’s Fakhar Zaman is now up 14 places to 81st while the Kiwi all-rounder Daryll Mitchell is up by nine places to 37th and the skipper Kane Williamson is up 13 places to 59th.
