Former India cricketer Nikhil Chopra has been reappointed as the Chairman of the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) of the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) for the third consecutive term. His reappointment comes as part of the committee’s recent restructuring, as per the resolutions passed by the DDCA Apex Council.
Joining Chopra on the CAC are former cricketer Surinder Khanna and Mrs. Anjali Sharma, both serving as committee members.

This committee, crucial in shaping the future of Delhi cricket, will be responsible for making recommendations to the DDCA President regarding the appointment of selection committees, coaches, managers, and support staff.
Their recommendations will be applicable only for tournaments organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
One of the key responsibilities of the CAC under Chopra’s leadership will be to ensure the highest standards of transparency in all its operations.
The quorum for the committee meetings has been set at three members, with the Chairperson’s presence being mandatory, further underscoring Chopra’s pivotal role.
