The video of Rohit Sharma driving his car on the streets of Mumbai has gone viral on social media.

Team India captain Rohit Sharma has a fondness for luxury cars and also boasts a great collection. Recently he was spotted driving an ultra-luxurious Lamborghini Urus on the streets of Mumbai. Meanwhile, people passing by halted for a while with their mobile cameras focusing on Rohit and his car. The interesting part about his vehicle was the registration plate that read ‘0264’.

Rohit’s fans need no explanation about that special number plate but the unversed, it’s his highest score in the ODIs which is a world record. The Indian captain has three double centuries in the 50-over format, the most by any player in the world. Two of them came against Sri Lanka and one against Australia. He accumulated 264 runs against the Lankans on November 13, 2014, which stands atop the record books.

The video of Rohit Sharma driving his car on the streets of Mumbai has gone viral on social media. Though CricketNext couldn’t confirm when the video was shot, it’s being loved by the fans on social media.

Rohit, alongside Ravichandran Ashwin, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah did not take part in the Duleep Trophy as some of the Indian players are spending time away from the field before assembling for the Bangladesh Tests next month. The 2-match series begins September 19 in Chennai before the teams will fly to Kanpur for the final Test match.

After retiring from the T20Is, Rohit returned to the field to lead the team in a 3-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. After the first match ended in a tie, the visitors lost the series 2-0. He was the top-run scorer of the series with 157 runs, which included two fifties.
