During a league match between Sanderstead Cricket Club and Merton Boars, a fielders ill-fated attempt at taking a catch is going viral on social media.
The fielder reportedly ended up dropping the catch after juggling the ball as many as seven times. And the hilarious failed attempt even left the fielder himself laughing his heart out having dropped a dolly.

Reacting to the video, one social media user commented, “He should be in a circus.”
Explaining the whole event, another person hilariously wrote, “It had 4 acts: the initial drop, the hopeful recovery, the in-control taps, the fatal blow.”

“This is the Goat drop catch ever in entire cricket history,” read a response.
“Bro tried so hard to drop it and succeeded at the end,” read another cheeky comment.
“They ran about 8 while he was juggling,” observed one.
Few even drew comparisons with fielding mishaps in international cricket.
Sanderstead Cricket Club eventually clinched a convincing win. They chased down a target of 240 in 30.3 overs with eight wickets remaining.
Recently, former Pakistan cricketer Wahab Riaz was slammed for his poor fielding during a World Championship of Legends match.
Riaz had dropped an easy catch at the boundary during a game between Pakistan Champions and India Champions at Edgbaston in Birmingham last month.

The much-talked-about incident occurred in the final over of India’s innings. Pakistan’s Amer Amin produced a slow delivery to Anureet Singh who tried to hit the ball out of the ground. Anureet, however, could not connect the shot properly.
Riaz appeared to be in a comfortable position to take the catch but the ball, eventually, slipped out of his hands.
