This year, the AP EAMCET for the Engineering stream was conducted from May 18 to May 23 and for the Agriculture and Pharmacy streams, the exams were held on May 16 and 17.

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will declare the results for the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Common Entrance Test (AP EAPCET) 2024 soon. As per media reports, the result will be declared in the first week of June. However, an official announcement of the result date and time from the council is still awaited. Once declared, all the candidates can check and download their EAMCET or EAPCET results from the official portal at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.

AP EAMCET 2024: How to check the result?

Step 1: Head to the official website at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the AP EAMCET 2024 Result tab.

Step 3: Enter your login details and click on submit.

Step 4: Your AP EAMCET 2024 result will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Review all the marks and check all the information carefully.

Step 6: Download and take a printout of it for future reference.

Students who successfully clear the exam will be allowed to participate in the counseling process for admission into their preferred courses and institutions. The dates for the same will be announced later by the council.

Tie Breaking Rule: To evaluate the marks, the council will use a normalisation method to convert raw scores and create a rank list. In case two or more students achieve the same marks, the council will be using a tie-breaking rule. According to this, the preference will be given to the candidate who scored higher marks in Mathematics, Physics, Qualifying Exams or who is older in age.

Passing Criteria: Students need to score a minimum of 25 per cent marks to pass the EAMCET 2024 exam. However, there are no minimum passing criteria for Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Scheduled Caste (SC).

Last year, the AP EAMCET result was declared on June 14 and around 2 lakh students appeared for the Engineering stream, and around 1 lakh appeared for the Agriculture stream.
