CBSE Announces Dates for Class 10 and 12 Board Exams in 2024-25

Following the release of the Class 10 and 12 results, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the exam dates for the upcoming academic session. During the declaration of class 12 board exam results on May 13, CBSE also shared a press release. It mentioned that the examination for the next academic year (2024-25) will begin on February 15, 2025 for both classes 10 and 12. Nevertheless, later in the academic year 2024–2025, the board will release the comprehensive test schedule, or CBSE Date Sheet for 2025.

The notice and the syllabus for the said curriculum were released by the board in March this year. They can be downloaded directly from the official CBSE website at cbseacademic.nic.in.

CBSE had also earlier announced a two-board format for the upcoming 2024-25 academic session. However, the board has not provided any official update on the specifics yet. Students can expect a notification release soon that will clarify both the exam pattern and schedule for the 2024-25 academic session. The notice is expected to provide the format details of the two exams and if they will either be mandatory or optional for students.

2024 – February 15 to March 13

2025 – February 15

Step 4: After clicking on the link, a PDF file should open on your computer.
