CTET 2024 Advance City Slip Released at ctet.nic.in, Admit Cards Soon
Candidates can now download the CTET 2024 city slip from the official website at ctet.nic.in after entering the application number, date of birth, and security pin on the login window.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued the advance city intimation slip for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024. Those who have registered for the eligibility exam can now download the city slip from the official website at ctet.nic.in.

It is important to note that the CTET 2024 advance city slip is not the admit card. The hall ticket for the same will be released later. To download the CTET 2024 advance city intimation slip, candidates will have to enter their application number, date of birth, and security pin on the login window.

CBSE CTET 2024 Advance City Slip: Steps To Download

Step 1: Go to the official site at ctet.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the link that reads – ‘View Centre City for CTET July 2024’.

Step 3: Select the link. After selection, candidates will have to select another link that will read ‘View Centre City for CTET July 2024’.

Step 4: Then enter the credentials – application number, date of birth, and security pin. And click on ‘Submit’.

Step 5: Check all the details and download it.

The CTET 2024 exam city slip includes details about the candidates’ test centre. However, the city slip should not be confused with the admit card, which candidates need to download to enter the examination hall on the day of the exam.

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test will be held on July 7, 2024, in two shifts. The exam will be for 2 hours and 30 minutes each. As per the official notification, Paper 2 will be administered from 9:30 am to 12 noon, while Paper 1 is set to take place from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.

The Paper 1 exam will be held for those who wish to be teachers in Classes 1 through 5, while Paper 2 will be conducted for those who want to teach grades 6 through 8.

The CTET exam is administered twice every year. The CTET January 2024 exam was held on January 21. Over 26 lakh applicants had registered for the CTET January 2024 exam. Paper 1 attracted 9,58,193 candidates, while paper 2 attracted 17,35,333, as per reports.

The CTET 2024 results will be valid for a lifetime. There is no limit on the number of times a person can attempt to obtain a CTET pass certificate. Candidates who clear the CTET may retake the exam to improve their scores.
