IIT Delhi Launches Advanced Certificate Program In Automotive Operations And Future Technologies

The Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT)are the top choices for people aspiring to study engineering. Those wishing to study here must have a good rank in JEE mains and Advanced after the 12th grade. Students who wish to be admitted to Masters courses should clear the GATE examination after graduation. IIT Delhi has reportedly started a course for this purpose special course for people who work in the automobile industry. People with no experience in automobiles can also apply to this program.

IIT Delhi, in collaboration with the Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) Academy, has decided to launch an Advanced Certificate Program in Automotive Operations and Future Technologies. The classes will be held at IIT Delhi Campus for seven days. It is specially designed to train people about dealer principles and leadership qualities for auto dealers and workers to revolutionise the automotive industry.

The course includes subjects like automotive operations and future technologies, team dynamics, managing with power, change management, data mining, IT and AI in dealerships, charging infrastructure, battery technology, hybrid and alternate energy vehicles, automotive health monitoring, and sustainability. It also covers connected and autonomous vehicles, operational management, inventory and demand management, predictive analysis, financial and and marketing management.

This course is specially tailored to meet the needs of the automobile dealer’s community, with a focus on the latest advancements and practical applications in automotive operations and future technologies. Candidates who opt for this course will get the opportunity to engage with IIT Professors, make networks with industry experts and explore the future landscape of the automobile industry.

Dr Deepak Kumar, a professor of IIT Delhi’s Center for Automotive Research and Tribology, stated that the course has been carefully planned to cover both management and technology subjects that are crucial for the future of the automobile industry. Candidates will get insights from leading experts and practical experiences. They will also get opportunities to use the state-of-the-art laboratories of IIT Delhi.
