The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Madras) has recently announced the IIT JAM cut-off 2024, which has witnessed an increase for all subjects except Mathematics. The cut-off marks have been published on the official website, jam.iitm.ac.in. The cut-offs for most subjects have increased in JAM 2024 compared to JAM 2023, indicating a higher level of competition among candidates. The exam authorities have also released the All India Rank (AIR) for candidates who have secured marks equal to or above the cut-off in their respective categories.

Candidates who have qualified for the exam will be eligible for the IIT JAM counselling 2024. The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, is scheduled to open the JAM 2024 admission portal on April 10, 2024. Additionally, the JAM 2024 scorecard will be available for download starting April 2, 2024. The results were announced on March 20.

During the examination, candidates might have observed a different order in the display of questions and options on the candidate console compared to the question paper. The exam authority clarified this discrepancy, stating that in the Final Answer Key files, ‘MTA’ stands for ‘Marks to All,’ meaning that for those questions, the marks allotted to that question will be given to all candidates appearing for the test paper.

IIT Madras had previously released the JAM 2024 answer key, along with the question papers, on February 19, 2024, on the official website. The IIT JAM 2024 was conducted on February 11 in two shifts — from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
