The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) is likely to declare the results for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) or the Class 10 exams by the end of this month or by the first week of May 2024. However, the board has not made any official announcement regarding the same. Students who appeared for the SSLC Class 10 exam this year can check and download their results by visiting the official websites: kseeb.kar.nic.in and karresults.nic.in, once the results are announced. “The evaluation of the Karnataka SSLC result is yet to begin,” a KSEAB official told indianexpress.com while announcing the Class 12 PUC 2 result on April 10.
This year the Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate exam was conducted from March 25 to April 6 and around 8.9 lakh students registered themselves for the exam.
Karnataka Board SSLC Result 2024 : Grading System
The students will be given grades according to the marks obtained by them. Take a look at the grading system:
–– From marks 563-625 will be getting grade A+
–– From marks 500-562 will be getting grade A
–– From marks 438-499 will be getting grade B+
–– From marks 375-437 will be getting grade B
–– From marks 313-374 will be getting grade C+
–– From marks 219- 312 will be getting grade C.
The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board recently released the answer key for the Karnataka SSLC Exam 2024. However, the last date to raise objections against was till April 8.
Last year, the results for the Karnataka SSLC exam were declared on May 8 with an overall passing percentage of 83.89 per cent. Around 8.3 lakh students appeared for the exam and 7 lakh managed to pass. Talking about 2022, the total pass percentage stood at 85.63 per cent and in 2021 a total of 99.99 per cent cleared the exam.
On April 10, the KSEAB declared the final results for the 2nd Pre-University Certificate (PUC) on the official website – karnataka.gov.in, pue.kar.nic.in, karreults.nic.in and kseeb.kar.nic.in. The exams were held this year from March 1 to March 22 and around 7 lakh students enrolled themselves for the exam.
As per the Karnataka 2nd PUC grading system, those who scored between 83 – 91 will be awarded grade 9. Similarly, candidates scoring 75-82 will be awarded grade 8, from 67-74 grade 7, from 59-66 grade 6, from 51-58 grade 5, from 41-50 grade 4 and 35-40 grade 3.
