The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has begun the application process for Secondary Grade Teachers today, February 14, on its official website at trb.tn.gov.in. The recruitment drive aims to fill 1768 secondary grade teacher positions around the state. The last date to apply is March 15. The exam will be held on June 24.
TN TRB Teacher Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates interested in applying for the recruitment drive must have a certificate of two-year diploma in elementary education and a minimum of 50 per cent in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent). Alternatively, they can have a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or a two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) after completing class 12 or its equivalent with at least 50 per cent of the required marks, or both.
Moreover, applicants who hold a two-year elementary education diploma and a graduation degree are also eligible to apply for the exam. Candidates will need a valid Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test Certificate to apply for the posts.
Age Limit: General Category must be within 53 years of age. While those belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Class Muslims, Backward Classes, MBC/DNC, and DW must be within 48 years.

Step 2: Click on the registration link for the positions of Secondary Grade Teachers.
Step 3: Register yourself and fill out the application form.
Step 4: Upload documents.
Step 5: Pay the application fee. Submit.
Step 6: Download and save the acknowledgment page for further use.
The TN TRB secondary grade teacher recruitment process 2024 consists of three stages. Candidates must pass the Compulsory Teacher Eligibility Test during Stage One. Stage two requires students to take a written test. Qualified applicants proceed to Certificate Verification in the third stage.
