Arsenal come up with a massive deal in quest of Suarez

As the battle between clubs to sign up Luis Suarez continues, Arsenal have launched a bid worth £35million for the Liverpool striker.

The Sun reports with the amount of finance the Gunners have in store this season, the Uruguayan striker seems to be their number one target.

With a deal worth £23million already in place for Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain, Wenger believes Suarez would be a better deal that either Higuain or Wayne Rooney from Manchester United.

However, Suarez is equally wanted by Real's newly-appointed coach Carlo Ancelotti but Wenger might just have the edge with a bigger deal. Liverpool have set Suarez's price at £40million, and Arsenal are the closest to the set price range.
