Valencia: Valencia president Manuel Llorente has confirmed the club have yet to receive a bid for reported Arsenal and Liverpool target Juan Mata.
The talented attacking midfielder has been linked with a move away from the Mestalla during the current transfer window, but Llorente is adamant that he will not be sold.
"There's nothing with Mata," he told Superdeporte.
"He is a Valencia player and today there is no offer or negotiation. The club's intention is not to sell."
However, despite Llorente assuring that the Spanish international would not be sold, manager Unai Emery was less confident.
"Right now I can't imagine it but it can’t be ruled out," said Emery.
"From what we have spoken about internally and what we spoken about with the footballer, the idea is that he continues [with us], but it could be that, in a given moment, economic and sporting situations for the player mean that he may leave.
"As things stand today, the idea is that he stays."
