Manchester: Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has ruled out making a move for David Beckham in January.
The Red Devils legend, who enjoyed 10 successful years at Old Trafford, is looking for a loan move in the New Year as the MLS is in its close season.
Leicester City are the only English club to have expressed their interest in the LA Galaxy man, but Sven-Goran Eriksson has revealed they have already been knocked back twice.
Beckham insists he will only return to the Premier League if it's with Manchester United, but Ferguson is not looking to bring back the former Red Devils favourite.
"I don't think so with David at his age," Ferguson was quoted as saying by Sky Sports. "I have never signed a player at that age have I?"
Meanwhile, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has all but said he will not be signing Beckham, claiming that although he would be interested, there isn’t enough room in his squad.
He told The Sun: "I would consider signing David Beckham, but we have Walcott, Nasri, Rosicky, Arshavin and Eboue who can play on the flanks."
