Barcelona: Manchester United veteran Ryan Giggs would welcome the arrival of Thiago Alcantara from Barcelona. Thiago, who was recently crowned as the best player at the Under-21 European Championships, appears set to move to Old Trafford with personal terms widely reported to have been already agreed.
Giggs, who was speaking to Marca, appeared to be excited over the possibility of the 22-year-old joining the club.
"I've seen him in several games. He's a good player," he said. "But there's always a lot of speculation with United and good players. We'll see if it happens in the end, but he's a big talent."
Red Devils are ready to offer him a five year contract with better salary and more playing time. Thiago was apparently frustrated with less playing time at Barcelona and wants a fresh challenge.
