Paris: Paris Saint-Germain continued their spending spree by signing Brazilian midfielder Thiago Motta from Inter Milan on Tuesday.

PSG said that the 29-year-old Motta will be presented at PSG's Parc des Princes stadium on Wednesday.

No financial details were given, but reports in France and Italy estimated the transfer at 10 million Euros - taking PSG's outlay for the season comfortably over 100 million Euros.

The player's represenative, Alessandro Canovi, claimed last week that Wednesday night's Coppa Italia clash with Napoli would be his client's last outing for the Nerazzurri and the midfielder was left out of the squad to face Lecce on Sunday.

Motta brings valuable experience to a PSG team chasing their first league title since 1994 and who have not played in the Champions League since 2004.

Motta previously played for Barcelona and has played six times for Brazil.

Motta, who has been capped six times by the Azzurri, has made 45 Serie A appearances for Inter since arriving from Genoa in 2009.
