'You Want Me To Take Him On Holiday?': Jurgen Klopp's Hilarious Reply Regarding Sparta Prague Players
In the post-match conference, a reporter inquired Klopp about whether he was impressed by and would be interested in acquiring any of the talent the Czech club possesses, to which the German provided a witty reply.

The Premier League will be remiss of Klopp, not just for his attacking style of football, but his antics off the pitch and his witty one-liners.

The German notched up yet another light-hearted moment of laughter at the press conference after Liverpool’s dominant 5-1 showing against Sparta Praha in the UEFA Europa League last night.

Despite a desperate fight from their opponents, Liverpool were in total cruise control against Sparta, as the Reds began their goalfest within the first 6 minutes of the game itself, with Alexis Mac Allister finding the back of the net, thanks to a penalty.

And the goals would only keep on pouring in as Uruguayan Darwin Nunez scored a spectacular brace within half-time, only to be followed by Luis Diaz and Dominik Szoboszlai, who scored a goal of their own in the second half as well.

Praha’s only goal also came from a deflected own goal off Liverpool’s Conor Bradley as the Czech side looked measly when stacked up against the mighty Reds.

In the post-match conference, a reporter inquired Klopp about whether he was impressed by and would be interested in acquiring any of the talent the Czech club possesses, to which the German provided a witty reply.

“I retire in the summer. You want me to take him on holiday or what?” stated an amused Klopp.

All the jokes aside though, Klopp was still left unimpressed with his side’s performance, stating that the results were not a true reflection of their play, crediting Sparta for their spirited fight.

‘So, the result is much better than the performance, that’s true,” said Klopp.

‘Sparta played a good game; Sparta took some risks in our possession, they [were] hiding wingers slightly [and] our protection was not good, so they could create these counter-attacks.

‘We lost a few unnecessary balls, which is then difficult to protect, but in other moments we should have done better.’

The German, who is set to depart from his beloved Reds after a nine-year long tenure, would be expected to go out on a high note. Currently, that seems to be a very possible case, with Liverpool already clinching the EFL League Cup, topping the Premier League and in the hunt for the Europa League trophy as well.

But, when asked about how significant it would be for Klopp to clinch an European title on his way out, Klopp replied stating that his departure from the club was not necessarily extra added fuel to his already burning desire to win.

‘Probably the question is, ‘How big is the desire to win a European trophy?’ And yeah, it would be cool, but nothing to do with that [his departure].

‘Last year when I stayed, I wanted to win something but it was just not possible, so yeah, nobody has to worry about that,’ stated a composed Klopp.
