Crafting Potion of Invisibility

Interact with a brewing stand. A brewing stand is a block used for making potions. If you don't have a brewing stand, you can find one within end ships, the basement of igloos, and in village churches.

Craft a Potion of Night Vision. You'll need Blaze Powder, 1 Nether Wart, 1 Golden Carrot, and 1 Water Bottle. You can craft Blaze Powder with 2 Blaze Rods. Once you have the ingredients, do the following: Place Blaze Powder in the box on the left side. Place the Water Bottle in one of the three squares on the bottom row. Place the Nether Wart in the box at the top, below Brewing Stand. Place the Golden Carrot in the same box at the top. Place the finished Potion of Night Vision in your inventory.

Place Blaze Powder in the fuel box. This is the box on the left side of the Brewing Stand menu.

Place the Potion of Night Vision. This can go in any of the three squares on the bottom row.

Place a Fermented Spider Eye. This goes in the box at the top, below Brewing Stand. To craft a Fermented Spider Eye, combine 1 Brown Mushroom, 1 Sugar, and 1 Spider Eye at a crafting table.

Place the finished Potion of Invisibility in your inventory. The potion can now be used on yourself, another player, or mobs.

Invisibility Status Effects

Invisibility turns entities invisible. This can be used on mobs and players, and the duration depends on the potion's potency. However, this status effect has some limitations. Unaffected by Invisibility: Saddles, armor, and other items that are worn Held items Fire sprites of entities set on fire Stuck arrows on players Particles of effects Shulker heads Llama's carpet decorations Charged creeper's auras Cave spider, spider, endermen, and phantom eyes Withers and ender dragons
