New Delhi: Days after a group of 10 terrorists entered India from Pakistan, security forces have tracked them down in the western part of India. As per sources, security forces have eliminated at least three of the 10 terrorists on the loose.
Sources also say Somnath temple was the target for a 26/11 type terror attack on Shivratri.
Intelligence Bureau (IB) had warned of possible terror attacks in Delhi and claimed that 10 Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorists who entered Gujarat earlier had been hiding in the national capital.
Sources had said Pakistan's National Security Adviser (NSA) Nasir Khan Janjua first shared the leads with his Indian counterpart Ajit Doval that 10 terrorists have entered India. He (Janjua) also informed that these terrorists are from Lashkar-e-Toiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad terror outfits and their aim is to carry out terror strikes in Gujarat and other parts of India.
While working on the leads, the Indian security agencies had got information that the terrorists managed to infiltrate into Delhi. "We have information that the terrorists might target market places and malls," Delhi Police sources had said. All the vital installations in Delhi including India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, railway stations have been on high alert.
