150 Vedic Scholars From Varanasi To Consecrate Ram Mandir At Ayodhya On January 22
Before the day of the consecration, the government of Uttar Pradesh has planned recitations of the Ramayana and the Hanuman Chalisa in prominent temples across the state.

The long-waited Ram Mandir at Ayodhya will finally be inaugurated on January 24, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP Chief Minister Adityanath Yogi likely to be there. The statue of Lord Ram will be placed inside the temple on January 22, at 12:45 pm, as per reports.

A consecration ceremony will be performed on the occasion where 150 Vedic scholars from Varanasi, the constituency of PM Narendra Modi, will also be in attendance.

Before the day of the consecration, the government of Uttar Pradesh has planned recitations of the Ramayana and the Hanuman Chalisa in prominent temples across the state. This drive is to start on January 14 and will continue till January 22. The state government and the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust come up with an outline of religious programmes, and the elaborate consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple is currently being arranged.

Over 6,000 guests, including priests, donors, and a number of politicians, are receiving invitation cards for the ceremony.

Notable personalities from the various industries are invited for the ceremony. The list includes names like Amitabh Bachchan, Gautam Adani, Mukesh Ambani, Arun Govil, and Dipika Chikhlia among many others.

The Ram temple’s building was made possible by the Supreme Court’s 2019 ruling in the Ayodhya dispute. The Centre established the Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Tirtha Kshetra’ Trust to make all decisions about the temple’s construction in response to the ruling of the apex court. On August 5, 2020, PM Modi placed the temple’s foundation stone, marking the start of construction. With certain modifications made in 2020, the Ram Mandir’s architecture is based on a concept created in 1988 by the Ahmedabad-based Sompura family.

In addition, as a unique cultural gesture, Thailand is sending soil to the Ramjanmabhoomi before the Ram Temple is officially opened. This gesture is in line with the previous one, which involved bringing water to Lord Ram’s temple from two rivers in Thailand.
