He auctioned a rare breed of Hilsa, red in colour, weighing around 1.6 kg for a whopping `3,000 when the normal market price hovers around ` 500 per kg. Hundreds of curious locals and tourists from the Talasari beach area flocked the fishing base at Chandeswar on Wednesday to catch a glimpse of the fish.
