CHENNAI: The six new Ministers inducted into the State Cabinet were sworn in at a function at Raj Bhavan on Sunday in the presence of Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. Governor K Rosiah administered the oath of office and secrecy to them.The new ministers and their portfolios are: S Damodaran representing Kinathukadavu constituency (Agriculture), R Kamaraj (Nannilam constituency - Food), Dr S Sundararaj (Paramakudi (SC) Handlooms and Textiles), M Paranjothi (Trichi West - HR and CE, Law), V Moothy (Madhavaram - Milk and Dairy Development) and KT Rajenthra Bhalaji (Sivakasi - Information and Special Programme Implementation). After the ceremony was over, the Governor took a group photo with the CM and her Cabinet ministers. Assembly Speaker D Jayakumar, State ministers and top officials participated.
