According to a police official, more children could be under the debris which were still being removed.
Ranchi: At least eight children and a woman were killed after a school wall collapsed due to heavy rains in Dhanbad on Tuesday.
The injured have been admitted to a hospital and rescue operations are on.
"A 20-foot-high wall of Guru Govind Singh Public School situated at Bank roundabout in Dhanbad collapsed," said a police official.
According to a police official, more children could be under the debris which were still being removed.
