BANGALORE: In connection with the death of nine-year-old boy Tejas in a swimming pool at Residency Holiday Resort in T Begur, the Nelamangala Rural police arrested the resort’s manager and the physical education teacher of Mother Theresa English School, where the boy was studying.Nagaraj, the resort manager who was also the swimming coach and Melwin Kumar (33), the physical education teacher and a resident of Jalahalli, are the person arrested.However, they were released after they obtained bail from a court. The police said Nagaraj, a resident of Nelamangala, was arrested on Thursday while Kumar was arrested on Friday. Nagaraj was absconding since November 5, the day on which the boy drowned.Tejas had gone to the resort on a picnic along with other 119 students and seven teachers. Kumar was arrested as he was the in charge of the picnic. The duo was arrested on charges of negligence, the police said.It may be recalled here that Tejas, a fourth standard student of Mother Theresa English School in Jalahalli died after he accidentally drowned in the Residency Holiday Resort’s swimming pool November 5.
