Mumbai: Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hyadri, who has shot bold scenes for 'Murder 3', believes kissing on screen is no big deal. She says people's comments don't bother her, and that it is but natural for a couple to share intimate moments - be it on or off screen.
"I don't think kissing on screen is a big deal. I think you should be honest. Kissing is a fact of life. You are showing a relationship. A couple in love is not going to play cricket, they are going to kiss each other. It is fine," Aditi said here.
She says she doesn't feel the need to get nervous about shooting bold scenes.
"I am very confident of who I am as a person. If you are unsure of who you are and unsure of what people will say about you and you let it bother you, you will be nervous. This is my work and I do it with a lot of love," she added.
Calling boldness an attitude, the actress said that it is important for an actor to believe in the sensual scenes to shoot them well. Otherwise, it won't have the required effect.
"You don't need to shed your clothes to be bold. Boldness is an attitude and it is in your mind and soul... You have to decide what you want to do and what you believe is right," she said. "You can be hot and sensual and you can have steel in your soul as well," she added.
Talking about the rest of the 'Murder' series, the actress said that 'Murder 3' goes beyond sensuality and has a strong story line.
"The first 'Murder' is a film about lust. It is about a girl who is unhappy in her marriage, so she goes out to get satisfaction. So yes, that film is sexually explicit. But this 'Murder' goes beyond sexuality. There is a plot and story in the film," she said.
Aditi started her career with a small role in 'Delhi-6' and has been seen in films like 'Yeh Saali Zindagi' and 'London, Paris, New York'.
She says "no one starts the way I did".
"I believed in that small part in 'Delhi 6'. It was the nicest part of the film. I was in the film for 15 minutes, but all the critics wrote my name. So, I must have done something right. So when I believe in something, I do it," she said.
She is not prepared to get compartmentalised in a particular role.
"As an actor, I would love to do different roles. I don't want to be put into a box. If I am, I will break the box. As an actor, you should always be surprising. It's fun to have something magical to show," she said.
Directed by Vishesh Bhatt, 'Murder 3' also features Randeep Hooda and Sara Loren.
