Around 10,53,807 students appeared for it last year. Nearly 11 lakh students are expected to appear for AIEEE this year.Express spoke to experts who advised students to remain focused. Ajay Arora, Director, T.I.M.E tutorial said students should be aware of the patterns of questions by studying previous years’ question papers. “Those appearing for the online exam need not worry as only the mode of the exam is changing while the type of questions will remain the same,” he said. Founder-director of the tutorial BASE Dr H S Nagaraj added that students need to revise during the last few days. “The students would have had around 200 hours of classes in each subject in two years. Now is the time to revise the concepts,” he added. He also advised the students not to take more than two minutes per question as 30 to 35 questions need to be answered in an hour’s time. Founder and MD of Ace Creative Learning Dr Sridhar G urged the students to remain calm. “It is really important for students to feel comfortable. They must get good sleep. Students have to revise what they know, rather than the sections they are not comfortable with. The focus should be on concentrating on things they know,” he said.
