Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh government on Monday indicated that passing a resolution in the legislative assembly favouring the formation of separate Telangana state would not be possible as demanded by Telangana Rashtra Samithi and other parties. TRS reiterated today its demand for such a resolution at the meeting of Business Advisory Committee(BAC) of the assembly.

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, however, reportedly said the Telangana issue was being examined by the Centre. The TRS, however, is likely to press for the pro-Telangana resolution in the assembly as it did during the previous sessions, sources said.

The pro-Telangana parties and the Telangana Joint Action Committee (JAC) have called for a 'Chalo Assembly' in favour of separate statehood demand on June 14. The budget session of the assembly resumed on Monday after a recess for about two-and-half months. The BAC decided that the session would continue till June 21.
