HYDERABAD: The Congress high command will take a final decision on whether the party should own or disown YS Rajasekhara Reddy who ruled the state from 2004-2009, AICC secretary and one of the observers for the state KB Krishna Murthy has said. The high command will take the decision after due consultations with all the leaders of the state party.Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, he said AICC general secretary Ghulam Nabi Azad would continue as in-charge of the state party affairs and he would also the visit the state very soon. “The high command will regularly send observers to the state as part of regular administration work. Union minister Vayalar Ravi visited state as a special observer and he submitted a report to the AICC president. Like Ravi, several others will visit the state in future.’’He dismissed the speculation over change of chief minister and PCC president and clarified that he had not given any report on the functioning of the two leaders. He claimed that the Congress did not anticipate any political crisis after the byelections as it was confident of winning them. There would be no threat to the Congress government in the state, he asserted.Krishna Murthy said all decisions of the party would be implemented without delay to strengthen the party from the grass root level all over the state. ``New presidents will be appointed to several District Congress Committees and the government will take a decision on making appointments to nominated posts. The high command will announce a new executive committee for the PCC,’’ he said.Meanwhile, senior leader and Rajya Sabha member Palvai Govardhan Reddy urged the party leadership to disown the former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s misdeeds during his rule from 2004 to 2009. He also demanded that the PCC and the CLP adopt a resolution that the party had nothing to with YSR’s misdeeds.
