Bigg Boss 8: Puneet Issar doesn't deserve the respect he earned from other housemates; I was hurt by his behaviour, says Deepshikha Nagpal

Deepshikha Nagpal shows no inhibitions in speaking her mind. In an exclusive Facebook chat with IBNLive.com, the former Bigg Boss contestant spilled the beans on the rest of housemates- Puneet Issar, Pritam and Gautam Gulati and their strategies to win the show.

IBNLive Movies: If given a chance to enter the house again, with which contestant would you like to have an open verbal duel?

Deepshikha Nagpal: Now I don't want to enter the house because it's different game all together. But yes when I was evicted, I wanted to go back because I had seen double standards of some people. And honestly, all that was very upsetting. But now it's history. It's a game and people gave their statergies to stay for the longest time.

IBNLive Movies: You have blamed Puneet Issar for spreading malice in the house. Is he really that shallow?

Deepshikha Nagpal: The way he behaved in the show was very shocking for me. I have worked with him in past and had always respected him. He was the only one whom Kaishav told to look after me. And Puneet had also said that I'm like his sister. When we were part of the secret society, he was scared and wanted to quit the show because he was suffering from closet phobia. He was very aggressive but I looked after him like mother. I would be awake the entire night to make him feel comfortable. I gave him the assurance that we'd have to stay only for some weeks. He often referred to me as a godsend. I looked after him while it should have been the other way round. I'd be worried about his health. And when I got to know that people were against him, I told Upen and Arya not to take him wrong as he was the most senior contestant. And that we had to look after him. But Puneet continued to play games from Day 1. He would preach, give out the gyan from Geeta and Mahabharata but never practiced what he said. But sorry to say he didn't deserve the respect he earned from other contestants. He took advantage of it. On face he was sweet but behind their backs he'd say dirty things. By the time I realized it I was out of the house. And I was very very hurt by this behavior of Puneet. Anyway, I did my good karma and he did his.

IBNLive Movies: We recently saw Sambhavna hitting Dimpy with a sandal in one of the promos. Isn't that uncalled for?

Deepshikha Nagpal: Yes I saw the promo ... But I think that is expected from challengers. The viewers want to see more fireworks and action. It is 'Halla Bol' for a reason. So yes, all this will happen and get intense if it is liked. Everyone has entered with the show with their plan to win.

IBNLive Movies: Karishma Tanna has often been mocked for being self-centered. But what's wrong in that? She is there to win the show...

Deepshikha Nagpal: Karishma is a smart player. Nothing is wrong in being self-centred. Who isn't self centered? She is there to win the show. This is just her strategy to win Bigg Boss.

IBNLive Movies: Don't you think Pritam is trying to cash in on his 'oh-so-decent' image, something we saw only in the first few episodes of the show?

Deepshikha Nagpal: I got to know Pritam closely in secret society. He was dying to get recognition. That's why he'd do different things. Pritam also made me his sister. But showed his reality as soon as he entered the 'Bigg Boss' house. What I don't understand is that if people come to the show to play the game why do they have to make brothers and sisters. They have no respect for relationships. It is very disturbing. They just stoop to these levels to stay in the show.

IBNLive Movies: Many think Sonali Raut didn't deserve to stay for a very long time in the house. Did Salman have a soft corner for her?

Deepshikha Nagpal: Sonali managed to stay in the house for so long because of her luck. Salman Khan has nothing to do with it. Her carefree attitude helps her stay longer. People must have liked her that's why she wasn't eliminated again that soon. She is very smart and intelligent. She knows what to do when. There's nothing wrong with that.

IBNLive Movies: When Diandra Soares entered the house again, she seemed perfectly fine with what Gautam had done to her. Had you been in her place, would you have let bygones be bygones?

Deepshikha Nagpal: Diandra was nice with Gautam. That's how she felt. What she did was her wish. I can't comment on it and I have no right to do that. She cared for Gautam as a true friend and I would have done the same. As my emotions don't depend on another person's reaction 'My Feeling Is My Feeling'. If I care for a person without any expectations, I will care for him/her all my life. We all get effected by the situation and react, but I hate when people judge you for that. She is a Leo and so am I. So I exactly know how she feels. She is a very nice person.

IBNLive Movies: Were you able to make life-long friends during your stay in the controversial Bigg Boss house?

Deepshikha Nagpal: Yes I made lovely friends inside the house. All are my friend expect P3. I had a good rapport with Gautam too. He used to call me 'Didi'. I never had any tiff with him. Gautam is very strong contender.

IBNLive Movies: Farah Khan has replaced Salman Khan as 'Bigg Boss' host. How did she perform on her first day as the host?

Deepshikha Nagpal: Farah is big boss fan herself and as Salman had to leave for other shoot she had to take over. She was also nervous as the viewers' expectations are high and comparisons with Salman expected. But I think she did very good job. Give her some time and she will rock . She was cute.
