A woman allegedly slashed her boyfriend’s genitals and dumped him on the road outside her house in Bihar’s Buxar district on Saturday, said police. The man identified as Anil Gond survived the attack and is undergoing treatment at a sub-divisional hospital.
However, Gond’s condition is said to be critical, reported India Today, adding that cops are investigating as to why the woman took the step. Pramod Kumar Chaudhary, the victim’s brother spoke with the English daily and informed that the woman, who lives in Dumraon called Gond and asked him to come over to her place.
When the 25-year-old victim reached the woman’s house, the woman attacked him and chopped off his private parts. Later, she dumped him on the road outside her house. Anil, soaked in blood managed to reach a hospital where he informed his family about the incident.
Anil is now being treated at the VK Global Hospital in Buxar. Family members of the victim accused the woman of hatching a conspiracy and calling Anil, adding that he was first beaten up and then the woman and her brother slashed Anil’s private parts.
“We have started an investigation into the matter as soon as we got the information” quoted India Today as saying Dumraon police officer Anisha Rana.
Rana also added that Anil underwent an operation and is now under observation, adding that the man is in critical condition.
In an unrelated incident reported from Uttar Pradesh, a 32-year-old woman sliced her neighbor’s genitals using a knife following an argument with him in Kaushambi district’s Sharifpur village. The accused claimed that her husband lived in UAE.
According to a report in Times of India, the incident came to light when the 26-year-old man’s father lodged an FIR at Manjhanpur police station against the woman under sections 326 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapon) and 308 (culpable homicide) of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
The victim’s father alleged that the accused called up his son for some work at her house where they had a dispute over some issue, the report stated.
The 26-year-old man was found in an unconscious state by his father inside the neighbour’s house. The father said that he took his son to a private hospital in Kaushambi but the doctors referred him to Prayagraj for treatment.
