BJP delegation to visit UT

PUDUCHERRY: A BJP parliamentary delegation will be visiting Puducherry shortly to assess the damages caused by cyclone Thane, said Puducherry BJP president SPK Dhamodhar on Thursday. In a statement he said that he along with a team had visited affected areas and prepared a report which had been forwarded to BJP president Nitin Gadhkari. The BJP has been making efforts at securing adequate relief for the people, he said and added that it was being taken up through Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj to  impress upon the PM for release of adequate relief. Welcoming the commencement of distribution of relief  , he said that BJP would support all the endeavours of theCM and redress grievances of the people.
