CHENNAI: The bodies of two six-year-old boys, who drowned in the reservoir at Puzhal on Tuesday and that of a 10-year-old student, who was swept away in the Buckingham Canal in Kodungaiyur on Saturday, have been recovered.Khader Bhasha, a resident of Old Washermenpet, and Mohammed Shader of Anna Nagar (East) brought their families to their brother, Mohammed Nazir’s house in Shanmugapuram for Bakrid celebrations.On Tuesday, around 3 pm, the family members of Khader Bhasha andwent to Puzhal Lake for a dip in the water and Nazir’s son Mohammed Ashiq (6), Kader Bhasha’s son Mohammed Riswan and Shader’s daughter Sharmila (12) fell into the water.The same evening, Sharmila’s body was fished out of the water, while those of Ashiq andRiswan were recovered by fire and rescue services personnel from Ambattur station in the wee hours of Wednesday.The decomposed body of M Sridhar of R R Nagar, Kodangaiyur, who was swept away by the water of the Buckingham Canal on Saturday, washed ashore near Kargil Nagar in Thiruvottiyur after three days.
