The first papers of the CBSE class 12 and Class 10 board examination are slated to be held on Tuesday.

The first papers of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 12 and Class 10 board examination are slated to be held on Tuesday. Over 13 lakh students are set to appear for the examination.

The senior school certificate examination (Class 12) examination is slated to go on till April 22, comprising theory as well as practical papers. The secondary school (class 10) examination is being conducted from March 1 to March 28.

In order to help the differently-abled students, the board has already issued instructions to the examination centres in accordance with the Persons With Disabilities Act, 1995.

A statement by the board on its official website says, "Board is extending several exemptions/concessions to Spastic, Visually impaired, Physically Handicapped, Dyslexic, Autistic and candidates with disabilities as defined in the Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995 which have been circulated to the schools and also hosted on the website of the Board, from time to time. All such instructions/exemptions/concessions, in a consolidated form, are enclosed for the convenience of all stakeholders."

The complete date-sheet for the examination are available on CBSE's official website www.cbse.nic.in.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had on Sunday urged the students to face the exams with confidence and optimism. During his 'Mann ki Baat' radio show, the Prime Minister also invited students, teachers and parents to share their experience concerning examinations on the Narendra Modi Mobile App.
