BANGALORE: Celebrating Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary and International Day of Non-Violence, the Glass House in Raj Bhavan witnessed a variety of cultural programmes jointly organised by Doordarshan Kendra, Bangalore and the Karnataka chapter of Sarvodaya International Trust. Governor H R Bhardwaj and Archbishop Reverend Bernard Moras attended the event. Veereshananda Saraswathi Swami, M Rhiyaz-Ur-Rahman-Rashadi, Imam, Jamia Masjid and Ananda Bhantheji, Mahabodhi society were also present. The celebrations comprised performances from artistes like Smitha Bellur and Samathvam Group.
